The Woodridge Park District dance program is designed to improve grace and flexibility while exposing participants to the beauty and benefits of dance. This advanced ballet class incorporates lyrical and contemporary dance styles while working on either preparing for or practicing pointe work. This class includes additional optional performance opportunities. 6 years of dance or instructor approval. This is a cumulative program that runs Fall 2026 through Spring 2027 .Dancers will learn techniques and skills throughout the year, and during our winter/spring session. Each class will learn 2-3 dances that will be performed in our Spring Recital. Dance Attire: Girls- Proper Ballet shoes required; Leotard and tights preferred for classes. Boys- Ballet shoes required; Shorts & T-shirt. Supervisor: Kathi Wencewicz.
