Coding has been called the "literacy of the 21st Century." The ability to code is a key component of literacy today and a key aspect of understanding our technologically advance world. Experience the cutting edge of technology with LEGO(R) MINDSTORMS EV3 Robotics. Students will incorporate the EV3 motors, sensors and software by coding their commands directly into the intelligent brick. Test their capabilities by moving objects with robotic claws, creating a robotic mouse trap, constructing an electric guitar, tank bots and much more. Campers will also put their abilities to the test as they construct & code battle bots to compete against each other. This is a cooperative program with the Downers Grove Park District.
