Centennial Beach
Classes are designed to help students pass the Centennial Beach deep water test. To pass the Centennial Beach deep water test students must be able to swim 100 meters of freestyle without stopping and with continuous proper form. Participants will build on their foundational knowledge of freestyle. Class size is generally a maximum of 5 students per instructor. The Centennial Beach Deep Water Swim test is offered at 12:50 pm, 2:50 pm and 5:50 pm daily in the lap lanes. Once the swimmer has successfully passed the test during the current season, they are issued a wristband at the Beach each time they visit. The wristband must be worn at all times during their visit so they are identified as a swimmer who can use the deep end. (cj)
