Interested in making music your new hobby or career? Get started at this workshop where DJ DaiGroovie will walk you through what you need to know. Drop in to learn the basics of music production and beat-making in FruityLoops studios. Also, learn how to sample, count rhythms, and beginner music theory to sound like your genre of choice! For teens 13 to 19. DJ DaiGroovie, also known as Np0, is an eclectic DJ, artist, producer, and author from Chicago’s West Side known for blending innovation with groove-driven sound. He has performed at major events, including the Pygmalion Festival, where he opened for JPEGMAFIA, as well as performances for Lori Lightfoot and venues across the Midwest. Holding a degree in Music Technology and currently pursuing his master’s, he combines technical expertise with a strong artistic vision. He is also the author of Transcend, a gender-affirming self-care planner. Through music, writing, and art, DJ DaiGroovie creates spaces that uplift underrepresented voices and bring attention to overlooked issues. Learn more about his work here!
