Aquatic Exercise and Leisure Ed(Special Rec) at Welles

About This Activity

For individuals with a primary intellectual or developmental disability. In this low intensity activity, various styles of walking across the width of the shallow end of the pool will be covered. The aquatic environment is easy on the joints and offers more resistance. Once the pool closes for the season, Social Club activities will pick up. Activities promote social skills through interacting with peers and community members. This program focuses on improving independence and life skills through a variety of activities.
