Northlands Association for Special Recreation (NASR) is a cooperative partnership between the Rockford, Freeport, and Belvidere park districts (referred to as member districts). NASR programs are open to any individual with disability-related special needs. Member district residents are invited to participate in specialty/therapeutic recreation (TR) programs offered through any member district at the resident rate. Participation in inclusion services at a member district other than your own member district dictates that you must pay the non-resident rate for that specific program. Strike it up at NASR's Annual Bowling Tournament. Bowlers will compete in two games and be placed on lanes based on bowling average and age. If you are not a regular bowler, please indicate your level of ability when registering. The tournament will follow Special Olympics bowling rules. Bowling games and shoes are included in the registration fee. Participants are welcome to bring their own bowling ball and shoes. Awards will be presented after the tournament, and door prizes will be announced throughout the event. Pizza and beverages will be provided. Location: The Cherry Bowl - 7171 CherryVale N.
